Preschool
La Grande Récré is a preschool for children aged 2 to 5, of all nationalities, wishing to learn French while having fun.
Program
Our preschool offers a French immersion program based on the French National Curriculum as well as the Early Years Learning and Development Framework for Australia (EYLDF). The program takes place daily from 8.30am to 4.30pm.
Accredited
La Grande Récré is accredited by Department of Education and Training for 20 children from the age of 2. As such, eligible families may receive Child Care Subsidy (CCS)
Evening classes
In addition, La Grande Récré offers classes for children aged 5 to 12 years old, and school holiday programs.

It is with a heavy heart that we are moving on to the next chapter of Cooper`s life, “The big school”. Leaving behind La Grande Récré’s team especially Steve is a little sad. Cooper has created some wonderful memories, friendship and was very well prepared to move on to the French Program in Caulfield Junior College. Steve main priority is for children to feel welcome à La Grande Récré, which makes a very happy and positive atmosphere for learning. While children are learning the French language they still have a a wonderful joyful time. I can only highly recommended La Grande Récré.
